Free webinar hosted by Food Manufacture: learn about tech solutions for food production

Register for the free webinar taking place on Wednesday 27th April to learn more about automation for SMEs
Food Manufacture is hosting a free, one-hour live webinar to give food manufacturers a primer for implementing automation in their factories and workshops.
The Siemens sponsored webinar, entitled ‘Resources are finite, data is infinite: How tech helps to optimise operations and resources’, will be hosted by Rod Addy, and take place on the 27th April. It will feature an expert panel from a range of industry backgrounds such as Pete Hooper from Wyke Farms, Carolyn Newsham from Siemens Digital Industries, and Keith Thornhill, Siemens’ head of food and beverage. Topics such as pricing, digitalisation and disruption will be discussed.
The webinar is targeted at both manufacturers who are just starting their automation journey and firms who are looking to take the next step. It comes at a critical juncture for the food industry, where food manufacturers are rapidly turning to automation and digitisation in order to build resilience in the face of volatile supply chains. However, SMEs and businesses with less resources have faced barriers in implementing new automation processes. A number of innovations, such as the Made Smarter scheme, and accessible platforms such as Mezze, help to close the gap in automation and digitisation between small and large manufacturers.
The webinar will feature a Q&A, where questions can be pre-submitted or asked live. You can book your place here.
