The Mezze team has headed to the mountains of Navacerrada, Spain, for a few days of brainstorming, collaboration and focus on bringing new AI features to our market-leading B2B food ordering and automation platform. It’s not just a change of scenery — it’s an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day and get creative about where we want to take Mezze next.
Navacerrada, with its stunning natural landscape and fresh mountain air, feels like the perfect setting. The decision to head here for a few days isn’t just about finding a peaceful retreat; it’s about creating space for innovation. Sometimes, the best ideas come when you're outside your usual environment, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this change will inspire us.
Our main focus while we’re here? AI innovation. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to develop features that will make the Mezze platform smarter, faster and more intuitive. AI is already being applied in areas of the business world, but we want to deliver food-specific features that have a much greater impact. We’re diving deep into how we can better use AI to enhance Mezze in terms of customer support tools and food order creation.
One of the great things about working at Mezze is that innovation isn’t just a buzzword here — it’s at the heart of everything we do. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve the platform, making it more efficient and user-friendly for our customers. This trip to Navacerrada allows us to bring all our ideas to the table, experiment with new concepts and ultimately, come back with a plan for an even better product for our partners.
Of course, it hasn’t all been work! We’ve been getting out into nature, enjoying some excellent food and yesterday, we spent the day exploring the vibrant streets of Madrid. After all, fostering innovation isn’t just about the work itself; it’s about ensuring everyone is aligned, energised and motivated.
