AI-powered B2B ordering platform mezzeIQ has secured a new partnership with UK Food to Go manufacturer Sandwich King, as the Leeds-based business looks to streamline operations and support further growth.
Sandwich King, which produces a range of sandwiches, wraps, salads and Food to Go lines for retail, catering and institutional customers, will roll out mezzeIQ’s ordering and automation platform across its customer base.
The system is designed to replace manual and email-based ordering processes, enabling customers to place orders digitally while automating order capture, reducing errors and improving visibility across production and sales.
The move comes as Food to Go manufacturers face increasing pressure on margins and labour, driving investment in systems that improve efficiency without adding headcount.
Fran Bracken from Sandwich King said the decision formed part of a wider focus on operational improvement and customer experience:
"We’re continually reviewing how we operate and how we support our customers. Digitising our ordering processes with mezzeIQ will help us reduce admin, improve accuracy and create a more consistent experience across our customer base."
For mezzeIQ, the partnership reflects growing demand for digital ordering tools within the Food to Go sector, particularly among mid-sized manufacturers scaling their operations.
"Food to Go businesses are dealing with high order volumes, short lead times and increasing complexity. Moving away from manual processes is becoming essential, and we’re delighted to welcome Sandwich King as a client and support their continued growth with smarter ordering and automation," said Simon Bos, Founder/Director of mezzeIQ.
The rollout is expected to support Sandwich King in improving internal efficiency while giving customers greater control and visibility over their ordering.
