The UK Food & Drink Shows to showcase the best in the business

The NEC in Birmingham is set to showcase the best in the food and beverage industry in the industry-leading convention, the UK Food & Drink Shows, at the end of April. Grocery, retail, wholesale, hospitality and specialist goods industry leaders will be displaying their products and achievements across the three-day exposition. Opportunities to collaborate, network and learn will be aplenty.

One ticket — with free registration — gets you into five shows: the Farm Shop & Deli Show, Food & Drink Expo, The Restaurant Show, National Convenience Show, and the Forecourt Show.

You can even come and see Team Mezze on stand Q261.

Spotlight on exhibitors

The range is truly delicious. Here are some exhibitors that we’re particularly excited to meet (can you tell we’re tech bros?).

From vegan chocolatiers Buttermilk to the oat-milkshake company DevOATed, the plant-based selection is plentiful at the UK Food and Drink Shows. But we’re particularly interested in checking out the cutting edge technology of plant-based protein fibrillation specialists XMeat, from Beijiing. They transform plant-based ingredients into realistic whole-cut “meats”.

This all-in-one device assists retailers, bar and restaurants with the sale of age restricted goods by performing an anonymous age estimation function. No data is stored, keeping the checks anonymous and ethical.
